I just want this first period to end without getting in a deeper hole, and regroup for the second. Babs needs to tear into them. They aren't playing all that bad, just too many attempts at dangles/passes. Shoot the puck, Niemi isn't that good.

Babcock, no. Lidstrom, Z, Datsyuk, someone like that? Yes.

Which was my worry coming out of Game 1.

Sometimes they try to be too perfect on offense instead of just shooting it and playing what comes to them.

Another puck over a stick. Big play, the Wings had a chance to put some pressure and let the puck out of the zone.
