MGreenberg 105 Report post Posted June 25, 2011 why can't we get in on these deals? id take that. Maybe because Holland thinks every draft pick will turn into a Datsyuk or Lidstrom? I don't know. 1 LidsFan reacted to this

WorkingOvertime 536 Report post Posted June 25, 2011 lol @ Jackets Why? He's regressed with CBJ and has been a distraction for the organization. They likely took the best offer available.

Travis 576 Report post Posted June 25, 2011 At this point people just want Kenny to make a move. Even if it's a weak trade. 1 asoras reacted to this

You don't give up on a talent like him when an obstacle is in the way..unless you're Blue "Lost All Playoff Games..Ever" Jackets, apparently.
akustyk 84 Report post Posted June 25, 2011 Why? He's regressed with CBJ and has been a distraction for the organization. They likely took the best offer available. and this speaks volumes about the guy. the kid is so f* lazy that even Bobby Lang looks like a workhorse in comparison. you seriously wouldn't want him on Wings roster. can you spell: Alexandre Daigle? WorkingOvertime 536 Report post Posted June 25, 2011 He's still a kid. You don't give up on a talent like him when an obstacle is in the way..unless you're Blue "Lost All Playoff Games..Ever" Jackets, apparently. He bolted for the KHL one year, and reportedly was a disturbance in the AHL last year while not producing. What more do you need to realize he's been nothing but a cancer to CBJ.? Have you ever seen him play or are you just going on his draft report? There is a reason CBJ wasn't offered more for him.
Drake_Marcus 890 Report post Posted June 25, 2011 Comfirmed by NHLN. EDIT * Oh, sorry. Not second round, Third round pick (#66) And we can officially call Filatov a bust.
kylee 727 Report post Posted June 25, 2011 Endless ceiling for Filatov but bottomless lack of work ethic. Not the BJs fault he doesn't know howbto commit to being in the NHL.
WorkingOvertime 536 Report post Posted June 26, 2011 It's reported he asked to be traded or he was going back to the KHL. CBJ was lucky to get anything.
Guest Crymson Report post Posted June 26, 2011 why can't we get in on these deals? id take that. thats a former first for a third. deal. Filatov is a complete douchebag. He's lazy, has a horrible attitude, and refuses to play defense. This is why Holland probably didn't want him. It's also likely that Columbus would not trade him for cheap to a divisional rival. On the whole, you seem to think that the process of trading and of constructing a roster is far, far simpler than it actually is. 1 greenrebellion reacted to this

Guest Crymson Report post Posted December 12, 2011 From The Score. Thus probably ends the NHL career of a highly talented but tremendously lazy hockey player. 1 LidsFan reacted to this
Konnan511 1,736 Report post Posted December 12, 2011 why can't we get in on these deals? id take that. You're going off name alone. Have you watched him play? A third for this lazy bum is too much. Edit: oh look, no he's booted to Russia...
kylee 727 Report post Posted December 12, 2011 not surprising AT ALL to see Filatov jump ship and go to Russia. One of the many Euros who don't have the work ethic for the NHL game.
fixxxer 11 Report post Posted December 12, 2011 (edited) I doubt Columbus wants to trade to inter-division teams as well as Detroit. *addition I wouldn't want Filatov anyways as other posters have pointed out negatives. Also it just dawned on me after posting my original statement I wonder how trading will be affected after the the new changes in divisions.
