Yes.People do know there's no such thing as South Detroit, right? That's technically the river.
I said that once, here I think it was, then a bunch of people allegedly from Michigan were arguing there is a south Detroit. Fact is that there is no neighborhood you would describe as South Detroit. Southwest yes. South, no.

If there's something good that can come out of the losing streak, it's that we can appreciate the wins more.
Well done by the Wings. This team can get it done when Franzen takes shots. Brunnstrom did OK. As for Bertuzzi, I've gotta say that he's not playing like a guy who wants his Cup before retirement; he wasn't missed. Ericsson needs to learn to one-time and slapshot the puck when he's got the chance. Commodore looked good.

Homer needs to play every game as long as he's healthy and not tired. He was one of the best players on the ice tonight and was a big factor in keeping the puck deep in the Ducks zone.
Everyone knows how well he screens goaltenders and redirects pucks, but he's so good at digging pucks out of corners and along the boards. It's not pretty, but effective.

No, there was something like 11 seconds left on the clock according to the feed I've been watching all night. Are they allowed to sound the horn before the clock runs out? I mean, there's no chance the Ducks could score six goals to win in 11 seconds, but still.

I think we're being a little picky here.
And also, I'm not sold that the wings are out of their "slump" yet. The Ducks having probably been playing even worse than the Wings lately so I'm waiting for a better test. The next couple should be good tests.
Also also, Brunstrum needs to stay up.
