I think the Rangers will win the Cup because the King looks unbeatable and looks like he WANTS the Cup more anyone. It will be nice if they win the Cup which if they do they would be the 4th original 6 team to win the cup in the last 5 years.
go rangers !

Rangers vs. Phoenix. Heard it here first.
New e-book: The Spanish-American War: A Brief History. Relatively short, introductory read for casual history buffs and people who want to learn more about a forgotten war that changed America. Available at BN.com, Smashwords, Kobo, and Diesel E-Books right now. Same link as above.

McGuire's "timeout interview" with Tortorella was funny, but he blew it by laughing when it was over.
McGuire as a straight man? Never saw that coming.

Has any team ever had to go through 4 rounds of game 7's?
nope. farthest I found is 1987 Flyers with 26 games (out of 28 possible) to capture the cup:
http://en.wikipedia....ey_Cup_playoffs
this is the list of all Game 7 in SCF:
http://nbcsports.msn...om/id/13410909/
if you look in Wikipedia for the brackets starting with 1987 (first Game 7 of SCF to happen in 4 round playoff format)
then there's no one with a team going all 28 games distance. Philly comes closest, followed by 2001 and 2003 Devils
(24 games each time)

Philly never won the Cup in 87. The Oilers did.

right, but the original question was:
Has any team ever had to go through 4 rounds of game 7's?
not about who won the cup after 28 playoff games played. this makes Philly legit leader in this length category.

When I read the first line, it implies winning the Cup. Not which team was the closest. It is which team was the closest to winning 4 7 game series' while WINNING THE CUP. Since the Flyers did NOT win the Cup in 1987, then they are not the closest. It should be the team which has played the most 7 game series' which has actually won the Cup. While Philly almost pulled it off, at the end of the day they LOST in the SCF to Edmonton.
