@TSNBobMcKenzie: NYR and Martin Biron agree to a 2 year deal worth a total of $2.6M, AAV of $1.3M.

Wish Detroit could of landed him for a backup. I've always like him, he's a solid backup! However I knew the Rangers would re-up him. His agent stated he loved working with Henrik and New York city.

So who remains in the fold for potential back up targets? Leighton, Ellis, Clemmenson, Auld and Niittymaki are relatively young vets, similar to Biron, that have crossed my mind.

Agreed, I would have loved him here, but knew it was a pipe dream...

All I have to say about Holland and our off-season:

Here in this one as well

Here in this one too

Clemmenson or Ellis I think would be a serviceable backup. Gustavsson is intriguing as well, but wasnt he traded?

Philly really could have used him and he did well as their starter for a year, definitely thought he'd end up there. Great signing for the Rangers.

Biron is an excellent goalie, good signing for NYR.
