It took all of FIVE minutes for us to break down and hand Minny the game.
Another 26 minutes of play and all I saw was CRAP from the Wings.
At least Mrazek held in there.

Well that was embarrassing. I'd give my left leg to have our entire team play together with the lineup we projected to have at the start of the season.
"I don't care how fast a skater you are, if you don't play this game with a big heart and a big bag of knuckles in front of the net, you don't got dinky-do."

The refs defined it wrong here IMO. Clear penalty shot.
Maybe in the European leagues.
I can't remember in the NHL seeing the refs let a player get that good a chance, and still reward him a penalty shot, if he didn't score on the original one.

Well it's a good thing Samuelsson is back in the lineup.
Said no one ever.
Question: What is Kronwall's trade value?
Second rounder, and falling.

We need Helm back in this team so bad.

You mean the same lineup that got beat in 5 games last year in round 1, minus Lidstrom and Stuart?
Yeah, can't wait till we have that lineup back.
Keep your leg.

Just epic collapses, one after another. I can't believe I still get excited when they start with a two-goal cushion and a good first period...

Maybe your presence would have inspired them to win?
Maybe you could have shown your boobs or something? I'm willing to try anything at this point.
So. Effing. Frustrating.
Every game I've been at the Xcel, the Wings have won in OT or shootout.
Tots would have scored had I been there.
I could have flashed the Wild bench, but they'd probably have autographed them "thanks for being a fan, grandma" and then went back to playing.
My money on the board pledge:
$1 for each goal scored by a player after whom I have named a hamster.
An additional $5 for each hat trick scored by a player after whom I have named a hamster.
An additional $10 if any of the above goals is the GWG goal that gives us the series win.
An additional $50 if it is the GWG that wins us the Cup.
$5 for a SO by Jimmy.
Hamsters' names (current players in RED): Henrik Pavel Tomas Nicklas Dominik
Niklas Matthieu Daniel Robert
Johan Andreas Valtteri Jonathan
Andrew Patrick Ian Todd
And introducing: Jordin Damien Gustav James
TOTAL SO FAR: $27

just tank for the first pick.
this team is awful.
if by some miracle they actually make the playoffs, there is zero chance they win a round.

Our PP looked like straight up vomit. Anyone wanna bet on when we get our first road PP goal? I'm thinkin the 28th against the Sharks...
Hostile to the past, impatient of the present, and cheated of the future.

I wonder how much worse it'll have to get before management decides it's time to let the kids play and see what we can get for some of the vets, and if it's not much, waive 'em

Here we go Dman at deadline here we go. stomp stomp.
Yeah, for all the puck moving offensive defensemen we supposedly have, I didn't see much great puck movement. That last PP was abysmal on the break out of our zone.

B-b-b-but Quincey and Samuelsson are familiar with "the system"! B-b-b-but White is great puck-moving defensemen! B-b-b-but Dan Cleary proves we can grab everyone's scraps and squeeze every drop out of them!

Even if this team makes the playoffs no Wings fan can honestly think we are going anywhere? Not right now anyways. This loss stings worse than the Anaheim loss.
I'm staying positive and saying injuries have to do with our lackluster play.
Our PP is doing us in.
SORT IT OUT ASAP.
