MrazekFanBoy 223 Report post Posted August 29, 2015 15-25 hopefully he gets lots of power play time, he's a third line scorer for now but honestly the sky is the limit if he can get the ice time this kid has an amazing shot I'd like to see him become a star here he really is an exciting player. Helmethead 235 Report post Posted August 29, 2015 Like Mrazek he should only get 10-15 games.
Rivalred 630 Report post Posted August 29, 2015 Like Mrazek he should only get 10-15 games. I bet Coach Blash will have some in how many games he gets

MrazekFanBoy 223 Report post Posted August 29, 2015 Teemu will get his chance unless Nyquist and Tatar really light it up this year
krsmith17 7,191 Report post Posted August 29, 2015 I'm hoping he will get 3rd line minutes with Sheahan and Jurco and a ton of power-play time, setting up along the left half board, unleashing that cannon every chance he gets. I'm thinking 20-25 goals, 40-45 points. 1 MrazekFanBoy reacted to this
jimmyemeryhunter 2,747 Report post Posted August 29, 2015 I know it won't start out that way since datsyuk is injured, but I really think he'd thrive next to Richards, the only concern I'd have is a lack of speed. Someone else pointed out how much Richards and z play a similar style game, which I definitely see, so those three as a line would be fun to see. I'm expecting 15-20 goals and less assists unless he's put with someone who can dominate net front, and get tipped shots.
kipwinger 8,554 Report post Posted August 29, 2015 (edited) Once Pav is back, you've got Z, Tatar, Gus, Franzen, Abby, Jurco, Pulkkinen, and maybe Helm all competing for winger spots on the top three lines. I don't think Pulkkinen is necessarily the lowest on the depth chart, but he's at the lower end. So I don't think he'll get enough minutes to consistently score goals. I'm looking for around 15 from him this season, and about the same number of assists. kipwinger 8,554 Report post Posted August 29, 2015 Leave it up to Helene St. James to be baffling stupid in her preview of Pulkkinen today. According to her, Pulkkinen didn't get any meaningful powerplay minutes (he had over 2:30 minutes per game) but he should also be utilized as a point man on the PP behind Green. Because you know, guys with his skillset always play on the point (cough...Ovechkin...cough Stamkos...cough, cough). How does this dummy have a job again? http://www.freep.com/story/sports/nhl/red-wings/2015/08/29/detroit-red-wings-teemu-pulkkinen/71385228/
Helmethead 235 Report post Posted August 29, 2015 As long as Pulk plays and earns his minutes, that's the important thing. 1 chaps80 reacted to this

Which leads credence to your question, I don't know how she has a job writing for the wings. 1 GoWings1905 reacted to this
