If anyone told you 2 months ago we would be down 2-0 against Washington and Florida early in the second period, missing Vrana and still get 3 points you probably would have laughed. That team shows, with still limited skill, a resiliency we were long missing and plays above expectations. When I watch Team Germany play against any of the top six national teams we only stand a chance if we play like Detroit yesterday. With limited skill, still a lot better than last year, you have to play heart and soul hockey, make life for them a misery and be relentless. His skating and passing skills help a lot in our transition game, there´s still fine tuning to be done but constantly improving. 2. Seider is everything we could have wished for, playing hard, with authority, not giving in. His face on the bench near the end of that Montreal game, he looked so disgusted with their perfomance. He hates losing especially when it´s because of lack of effort. He´s not perfect, but who is after 8 games. Expect more to come. 3.
