Got my notice to renew Center Ice and debating whether to or not. Looking for opinions or how others watch games. Yes I try to watch as many games as I can during the season

For those that are out of area do you watch games on ESPN+ or use the Bally’s app?

Why bother with any of those options?

You can get all the info you need on LGW, plus I find it hard to watch while posting on the GDT so rather just watch the thread.

Was a NHL Center Ice subscriber up until a few seasons ago (was a glorious day back in August '99 when digital cable and Center Ice was made available in the greater Milwaukee area). I cut the cord a few seasons ago (at that time I had DirecTV satellite) and began streaming with YouTube TV thus having to purchase the ESPN+ package.

Since I'm a 'boomer' (early 50s) I prefer watching games on TV instead of my laptop/phone (although I will watch on my iphone at work if I have a chance) so I don't bother with any illegal streaming that many partake in ($100 plus fees/taxes for the annual subscription to ESPN+ won't make a dent in my wallet).

Here in WI the Minnesota Wild are 'blackout' so unless the Wings are playing Minny, or are on the NHL Network (which isn't offered by YouTube TV) - I can watch every game (YouTube TV is like basic cable - includes ESPN/TNT/TBS and local networks HOWEVER IT DOES NOT INCLUDE BALLY SPORTS).

I preferred NHL Center Ice with it's user interface, the feeds (they run the local ads and not annoying ESPN infomercial crap), and overall set-up, but ESPN+ does do the trick - it's just not as 'good' as Center Ice. Only advantage with streaming is that I won't have any weather related issues that I occasionally had with the satellite dish.
