You cannot tell me Yzerman doesn’t need to shoulder the responsibility for this lost season. SY gutted our organizational depth on defense for…some reason?…and now we have at least four defenders on the ice who are collectively somehow WORSE than Olli Maatta. Real question: How bad would a player need to be in the offensive zone before Lalonde wouldn’t play him? Like, do you think he’d still play Tyler Motte even if the dude hadn’t scored in two seasons? Wings3:16 322 Report post Posted December 22, 2024 jeeeeeesus christ this is embarrassing - SY started out good, getting rid of contracts, telling us all to be patient, then got impatient and got himself in the same boat as KH but with slightly better prospects - it would be easier to take if we weren't up against the f*cking cap....also Husso letting in 5 or 6 goals in the AHL is funny and sad at the same time.
