In Topic: Red Wings rookie camp roster revealed

Really excited to hear about Larkin, AA and Mantha from camp. I feel like AA has been forgotten about among people on here because of Mantha hype. AA had 49 goals and 46 assists in 66 games.. He had 12 points in 11 playoff games as well.

Something interesting I noticed. Marchenko is the only one of the NHL level D prospects invited to camp. No Ouellete, Sproul, Bäckman, or Jensen. Anyone have any idea why?

probably because he missed the last half of the AHL season and playoffs due to a broken ankle, so they might be giving him an early start to look at his conditioning after the summer

Just because he is scoring in juniors doesn't mean he will make it in the NHL. Let's see how he's does with the big boys first.

I still think he is a 4th liner at best.

Its just like mantha yes I think he will be good. But I don't think he should make the jump to nhl to start the year. Maybe like halfway through but not to start. I wanna see how he does in the ahl(and I can watch him a lot live then to!).

Bertuzzi-Glendening-Callahan..just a fantasy, I know, but that would be a Troll line

Bertuzzi with a great performance in the third period..playing his pest style, blocking shots on the PK & getting two important goals as the Storm win 5-2 over the Oil Kings

In Topic: ECSF : (5) New York Rangers vs. (2) Pittsburgh Penguins

"The first-round pick is in the 2015 NHL Draft and the conditional second-round selection is in 2014. The second-round pick becomes a first-round pick if the Rangers reach the Eastern Conference Final this season. Also, if Callahan signs a contract with the Lightning, the Rangers would receive Tampa Bay's second-round pick in 2015 in exchange for New York's seventh-round choice in 2015."

so the St. Louis trade went pretty darn well for Stevie, he essentially turned a bad situation into 2 first round picks and an opportunity to negotiate with Callahan

In Topic: Tatar fell off the bench during team pictures at WC

Apparently doing neither one well.

My guess was climbing up on to it, but it's hard to tell.  If anyone can translate the interview video, that might help.

He was standing and it was not his fault, someone moved the bench while they were standing on it and he and a trainer fell down..he said he didn`t feel a thing because he was in full gear, but he felt sorry for the trainer who had no protection
