Had to break it to you bud, but we LITERALLY do not have enough assets to trade for both. We can possibly get one, in which case I say definitely go for Yandle, but getting both? Impossible.
Don't let the door hit you on the ass Stuart. I don't feel bad for anyone who makes multiple million dollars a year in a occupation that is not family friendly and then complains about not getting to see their family. If he really wanted to see them more he'd just retire.
It's time to go with the youth and get bigger and stronger. Bert,Homer and Lidstrom all need to retire. Hudler needs to go play in midget league.
Howard needs another goalie to push him for the starting job.

Dumbest. Decision. Ever. This is the Detroit Red Wings, not the Michigan Wolverines. The Winter Classic should be held in Detroit, not in an over-rated stadium that isn't even close to the Detroit city limits. I would rather the state of Michigan not have a Winter Classic than play it in a place other than Detroit. Hell, I'd rather Toronto host the WC than Ann Arbor. Hell, there's even an unused lot not far from Comerica that could be put to some use.
And I guess this puts to rest the idea that Illich supports the city of Detroit. This is a plain money grab by him. Period. He does not have Detroit's best interest at heart, or it would have been held at Comerica Park.
Detroit, once again, gets screwed out of a Winter Classic. f*** raw numbers, f*** the money, play the goddamn thing in Detroit or move it to Toronto. I certainly won't be watching it in 2013.
Wow, first thread I read and it's all, "f*** the Sharks!"
What a bunch of babies!
Night Night...
Not a day ago did I read numerous threads of "OH MY GOD IF WE LOSE GAME 7 I SWEAR TO GOD, NEVER WATCHING HOCKEY AGAIN OMGOMGOMOMGOMG?!" all across the shark boards. I have absolutely nothing and I mean nothing against opponent fans on the normal basis of them coming here and having an actual chat but to come here and start screaming we're bitching all of a sudden because what you actually made it to the western conference finals? Good, I hope you guys can actually make it past that just for the sake of Todd McLellan. I think most fan's are ashamed of your piss poor team and their display of sportsmanship when it comes to the sport of hockey if anything.
Next year's team is more of the same, I'm afraid. The person that needs to go is none other than KEN HOLLAND. This guy is crippling the Wings with all of his multi-year deals to Bertuzzi, Holmstrom, Rafalski, Draper, etc. This team hasn't had a chance to get better recently because of the dead weight Holland seems to be infatuated with.
I think its more or less just the Sharks' home record that make the HP Pavilion a tough venue. It has been pretty ridiculous over the past few seasons (better than ours).
HP Arena has a flat metallic roof that echos the noise so things seem to get loud in there. Great for hockey but really crappy for acoustics for a concert. Unlike the JLA, sellouts are common, it's modern, well light, and not in a ghetto.
I don't believe the home record has to do with the poll results. It's probably how comfortable/uncomfortable the visiting players feel at the various venues.
