    Stuart was a great pickup for the Wings. solid middle pairing, and provides a much needed physical presence to the Wings defensive corps. And as people have mentioned, he really stepped up for this team in the first half of the season when they were struggling with injuries, and just trying to right the ship in general. Thank you LA Kings for letting him go (though with all their young talent at D, I can't blame them).

    Implying that the said user can actually read. It's defintely a testament to the philosphy that it's better to spend money on more more predictable positions that benefit all aspects of the game rather than a position that even the best goalies can lose games for you.

    I would find it harder to if we didn't win the Cup the year before. Winning the Cup the year before took the sting away of losing game 7 ALOT.

    The only thing Osgood will be starting is possibly warm-ups. Howard has earned his playing time. The first few games are going to be a critical period for him to make or break his confidence. I have no doubt Ozzie will be ready if we need to call on him.
