2 pointsI feel you may be right, but it boggles the mind that adults can sit around a table and say, "I don't want someone else to have more than me, so I'm going to make sure that we both get zero." A cranky four-year-old who needs a nap, maybe, but a group of adults? Oh, heavens. It's going to be a long year.

Verbeek scored 500 goals in his career. You guys are giving Marchand way too much credit comparing him to Verbeek. As I've said before, Marchand could only exist on a team like Boston. If he played for the Wings, he'd get his ass kicked by opposing teams, with no one to protect him. -

At this point in time, I'd take Marchand over Franzen, as well. However, Marchand does a little too much diving and embellishing for my liking. Marchand reminds me of Pat Verbeek. Anyhow, Boston is gonna be one of the toughest teams in the league once again. -

You'd think they could just do a one-year deal with both sides making serious concessions for just one year so that they could play and agree to work out a long-term solution to be implemented next year. Oh, wait. They did that. They put an extension clause in this CBA, which the league stomped out as an option before they even scheduled the meetings. -

While the entire album wasn't exactly received well by fans, I'd love to see the guys at the Joe play Metallica's "Some Kind of Monster" whenever Jonas makes a big save or does something of significance. I think it'd be pretty cool, and I'm not sure how often songs are used in response to something a goalie does. -

So tonight capped off the first half of the season, as expected it's getting chaotic. What I caught after the show was them saying the show will be back next summer. NEXT SUMMER?! They leave a cliffhanger like that and it's done for 9 months? Ugh. I was thinking with Gus gone that this season wouldn't be as good as the last was, but it hasn't disappointed so far. The past two episodes have been so damn good.
