Team is playing great right now, so it's hard to say we need "X" changes. They're fired up right now. It's tough to upset chemistry, but Yzerman best not avoid making improvements again this TDL like last. You could kinda tell the guys looked disappointed that nothing was done last year to help them stay in the playoff picture. It seems Gustavsson and Holl have new life under Yawny, but if Yzerman could add a legit top 4 guy, he should. Andersson comes to mind, but I'm not sure if Calgary is shopping him. Also, what's the time frame for ASP to get here? You don't want too good of a RHD that would suppress his arrival. If we acquired Andersson, we wouldn't want to let him go. He would help immediately on the right side on the 2nd pairing, but neither him nor ASP are 3rd pairing. Although having 3 pairs of legit top 4 players wouldn't be a bad thing. Up front things seem to be perfect right now, but again, I think Yzerman should be looking to make it better. Hoglander doesn't suck, but he's not top 6 talent right now. But IMO in 2-3 years, we'll wish we had acquired him when it wouldn't be costly. I feel the same about Matt Savoie. Get these guys now and reap the huge rewards later. Obviously there isn't going to be a windfall of trades for us this season (although Höglander and Savioe wouldn't cost much) but if within this TDL and next, we could acquire Andersson, Byram, Cozens, Höglander, and Savoie, we'd be sitting pretty for the now, and the future. I'm not against trading draft capital, Veleno, Rasmussen, Berggren, or some prospects. I an against trading Danielson or Kasper though. Just my opinion....

100% agree. Matt Savoie is genuinely no better than Amadeus Lombardi. He’s just always going to be talked about more because he’s a 1st round pick, but I think the blush is off his rose after spending a zillion years in the Canadian Juniors without getting appreciably better. Hard pass.

Listened to game on drive back from OH and definitely need to see game recap videos. Paul Woods kept saying the entire roster is on the same page now and playing like that is way more fun and easier This upcoming road trip will speak volumes for the team

It doesn't seem to matter who's playing with Larkin and Raymond right now.
