With all do respect, some people have what we intelligent people like to call "mental illnesses". I'm not going to go into great detail but what I will say is that your a ****** and you shouldn't just jump to conclusions about how someone is just because your too ignorant to try to understand them. Obviously this was a cry for help for a man that just needed some evaluation and maybe some meds and someone to talk to. It's people like you that need to have their eyes opened once in a while. Just because you haven't dealt with this yet, doesn't mean you should butt in with stupid talk that makes everyone stupider while reading it. So I'm going to say good job Ron and other guy. I'm glad to see that some people in the world care for others in need.

Wow. This guy is a complete piece of s***, no other way to describe him. Just got word that after the Hawks saluted the fans following the win, he SPIT on the INDIANHEAD. I know this may not seem like a big deal to Wings fans, but, I find that extremely offensive, disrespectful and classless. Imagine if he or someone else did something like that to the Winged Wheel. There's just no place for that in this great game. To many Chicagoans and Hawks' fans, that is like a kick to the nuts, imo. Terrible, terrible actions.
And after he took the second puck after their second straight loss to the Hawks he had the audacity to call the Hawks immature for even making it an issue. Is this guy serious? Is he 35 or 3 1/2? WOW.

No, I understand where you're coming from. The team is better with him than we will be without him, and I think some of these people bitching need to realize that. When he retires, and it'll more than likely be after next season, our team is screwed. We don't have any young, up-and-coming defensemen we can start phasing in so his absence won't be as difficult to take. The opposite happened when Steve retired -- we had Hank and Pavs among others, to help bridge that gap. Right now, we've got no one.
The fact he DIDN'T retire and didn't leave us in the lurch is something no one is addressing. I wonder why. Oh right -- $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Anyone hear that Pronger has been stealing game pucks away from the Hawks at the end of games? There's a yahoo sports article on it too. I'm guessing the writer doesn't like Pronger very much.

I guess I should be quite fortunate then that your definitions and opinions on who is and who is not a fan mean jack squat. There's a very short list of things my dad wants to see/do before he dies, which by the way, nearly happened last year.....and seeing the Hawks win the Cup is one of them. It's one thing when the Wings are playing the Hawks, it's another when we're not. This is important to him, so it's important to me. If you can't grasp that, that's your failing in life, not mine. My dad rooted for the Wings in 1997, since Game 4 was on my birthday and he wanted that for me as a birthday present. I'm returning the favor. If you don't like that......I don't really care.
