Maybe, but come on, you never know? I didn't think there was anyway in hell they were going to win 2 vs Miami, esp game 7 away.

If they can pull out a win tonight, anything is possible in a game 7. Unfortunately, they play poorly in San Antonio. But imo the Spurs haven't been anything to write home about - they've had plenty of brainfarts themselves this series. I just hope if the Pistons go down, they do it fighting, and don't get blown out of the water....

P.S. I think Pistons and Spurs fans are the ONLY ones watching this series - everyone else could care less......

I'll do the same, I'll just keep calling you a fairweather fan!

dumb fuks like you are so fukin annoying...

this happened before EVERY SINGLE RED WINGS GAME in the game day thread...ANYONE says ANYTHING bad about the red wings, and they're haters or bandwagoners/fairweather fans.

i said at the beginning of this series that if we don't split in san antonio in the first two games, we lose the series. i still stand by that. i hope i'm wrong, but that's the way i see it. i do NOT see us beating the spurs two straight on their floor.

i don't want anything to do with your dumbass bandwagon...i don't wanna be on it, cuz they're just a bunch of fuking loser ass homers that don't know anything about basketball and root blindly while calling everyone else fake fans. i don't wanna be jumping from it, cuz they were never fans to begin with.

JUST LIKE WITH THE RED WINGS, I CALL IT LIKE I SEE IT! i'm am merely a fan, no wagons involved.

i watched the 88, 89, 90 pistons almost three-peat. then i watched them struggle during the early to mind 90's, when the missed the playoffs like 4-5 seasons in a row. i remember the welling hope that sprang in my piston soul when we drafted both allan houston and lindsey hunter in the same draft!!!!! we made it to the playoffs that year for the first time in many!!!! my god...that was some exciting times! then the next year...we got our saviour, grant hill...we were set at 1,2,3 for the next decade with hunter, houston, and hill! almost made it to the second round of the playoffs the followong year. then in 99 (?)...we should made the second round of the playoffs!!!! *** YOU LAETTNER! YOU SUCK! WE SHOULDA MADE IT!

dude...i been through it all...and i've always called it like i've seen it...if i think we suck balls and we're doomed to lose, i'll say it. if i think we're gonna dominate, i'll say it. either way, i'm always watching and rooting...

so *** you, you dumbass no nothing fan wannabe!

Heh, alright, if you're not a fairweather fan I don't know what is. During the begining of the series when Detroit struggled, it was over, you already congratulated the Spurs, then we win 2 straight and you're back on board! It's our series now! Then we lose another one and it's back to "grats spurs!" make up your ******* mind.

and you're not "calling it like you see it" you're changing your opinion after every single game.

There's a BIG difference between being a blind tunnel vision watching fan and someone who has more confidence in their team and realze how much adversity they'd had to go through to get back here. It's not "over" because you think you know something since you've been a fan for 15 years or whatever you want to claim. This isn't any other team, the stats mean JACK when talking about the Pistons, take a look at the outcome of the Miami series.

i don't want anything to do with your dumbass bandwagon...i don't wanna be on it, cuz they're just a bunch of fuking loser ass homers that don't know anything about basketball and root blindly while calling everyone else fake fans.

rooting blindly? I'm giving you specific facts on how you've acted through this series, I've been a very even keeled Pistons fan and haven't given them too much credit or discredited the Spurs at all so don't call me a homer.

You just need to relax and not overract to each post and each game played, we're not in the finals because we have nice looking jerseys.

Doubt the Pistons all you want, call yourself a "true fan who just is objective and not a homer" but don't expect people to read your "congrats to the spurs" comments and believe you're totally on board.

whatever though, we're both here for the same reason, I'll just be more concrete and let you spaz for everyone.

You call it like you see it in the Finals, I'll call it like I see it right here.

oh what a surprise the pistons are getting f***ed by the refs

our favorite ref is there too... Dan Crawford!

it's unbelivable, the cops aren't the only thing corrupt in texas.

You call it like you see it in the Finals, I'll call it like I see it right here.

i said from the outset...if we don't split the first 2, the odds are not in our favor. after we won game three, i said if we don't win the next two, the odds are not in our favor. and that's where we stand. so what the *** are you calling me on? for seeing OBVIOUS odds that have been played out time and time again (with very few exceptions) since the beginning of the modern sports era? if so...guilty! lock me up, sherrif! rolleyes.gif

we are not in good shape...if i were a betting man, i would have put money on the spurs after the first two games. and i would have put money on the spurs after game five. and if we win tonight, i'd still put my money on the spurs.

sometimes there's a difference between who you think will win and who you hope will win. spurs were a better regular season team than us...spurs have been more impressive the post season than us...the spurs lead the series...the spurs are at home.

i hope the pistons pull this out...but 9 times outta 10, it just doesn't work out for the team on the short end of this stick.

dumbass...

serioiusly man, we can have a debate, but watch your ******* mouth, it's not only unneccessary, but it's disrespctful and against forum guidelines, call me an idiot and back it up, but don't result to the petty s**t you're resulting to.

the only "dumbf***" i see around here is the one that has to get his point across that way, it's hard to take to you seriously.

that's a good point, and most people picked the spurs, but im gonna go with the defending champs still. I don't buy that the Spurs have been more impressive, I just don't see it. but that's another 2 paragraphs i dont feel like talking.

so once again, we can fight, get in a pissing match and measure our internet dicks, but don't come at me with that tone again its petty and very rude.

Heh, alright, if you're not a fairweather fan I don't know what is.

are you a ******* dumbass? fairweather fans stick around when the going is good...and they're gone when the going gets tough. i always thought the definition was fairly self explanatory. i guess i was wrong.

the fairweather fans stopped watching during the early to mid-90's. that's not me. the fairweather fans only started watching during the last 2-ish seasons...and will stop watching once the pistons tank again. not i.

go on your dumbass witch-hunt elsewhere... rolleyes.gif

Id just like to throw in this choice quote to stir s**t up.

Asked if composure was an issue with his players, Brown said: "There's a simple statistic where we're 1-7 with one referee and were 11-1 with the rest. I think sometimes we focus in on things that we don't have any control over and we've got to just keep playing." While Brown didn't get specific, the Pistons are 0-4 when Ron Garretson has officiated in the playoffs and 1-3 when Dan Crawford has. Garretson officiated Game 1; Crawford did Game 2.

someone posted a article about that earlier, i think.

i'm pretty sure i posted that i was sick and tired of the pistons whining. the spurs have shown the ability to change their style of play to suit the officiating and the opponents. the pistons need to do the same. they should know against what refs they can get physical and against what refs they need to play with more finesse.

cuz blowing your top and getting teed up usually does not help your team...

sigh, i havent blamed the refs for any losses this series and im not about to, but it's pretty obvious how bias crawford is. calling ticky tack fouls in game 6 of the finals and handing the all over to the spurs even when they turn it over, horrible. we're still up though, so its good to go.

Thank god they reversed that call I was ready to kill someone.

heh, hubie brown is talking about how they've been consistent with their ticky tack calls, just because they're consistency making bad calls doesnt mean it's a good thing.
