If history of the series has taught us anything, both teams ALWAYS have a chance no matter the records or streaks.

Yes, I know, when it comes to unpredictability Michigan and Ohio State top them all. Anything goes. No matter how bad OSU tanks ( tongue.gif ) once they come into the Big House it's a clean slate for everybody. Certainly, I look forward to it.

Last time they played in Ann Arbor, Michigan won 38-0....with John Navarre.

Maybe, but that was two years ago. Just because it happened once before doesn't mean it's gonna happen again. Two years is a very long time in college sports.

Yes I know...that's why I said "I bet." I was implying that I think it will happen and that I could be wrong. I hope I am, as much as I hate Notre Dame.

For all my Michigan friends

Let's kickoff the season this weekend, I cant wait!

I see you are know U of M fan laugh.gif

Man I can wait for the season to start! Yesterday I got handed tickets to LSU's season opener without spending a dime, that's like an early birthday present! Plus I'll be going to 3 TCU games, one in San Diego, and possibly a 4th pending a potential business meeting near Dallas in the fall.

It is a long time, Michigan now has arguably the best back in the nation and the best qb in the big 10....and they're sophmores....they did lose some key players though, especially on defense.

That's a pretty bold statement considering Notre Dame beat Michigan last season.

The thing about Notre Dame vs Michigan?

Michigan usually has a .500+ season

Notre Dame will tank their season if they lose, if they win they'll challenge for the national title.

ND's season seems to ride ENTIRELY on the outcome of that game, while to Michigan, although it is important, they can bounce back just fine.

USC's defense is overrated. Offense will probably be good, but as usual, they play in the Pac 10 and face nobodies all year long until they get to the bowl game, fairly injury free and rested from beating Arizona State and the their biggest rivals, big bad UCLA. OH NOES! If they dont blow one against their cupcake schedule, I'll be rooting for whoever they play, be it Michigan or whoever, to kill them.

I'm so sick of every college football preview show devoting a half hour to Matt Leinart. He probably deserves it, I just dont like it.

USC killed Oklahoma last year. They return almost their entire offense. This is a team that hasnt lost in 2 years. Everyone likes to knock the Pac-10 because they dont play smashmouth football. The Pac-10 can hold its own v the rest of the country. They routinely beat up on other conferences. The Pac-10 is unique in that they tend to air the ball out more than grind games away like the midwest and southern teams do.

Leinart is good, Reggie Bush is better.
