Now maybe the Wolverine fans will focus on something other than Purdue's schedule. yeah..like trying to win a game. Michigan had tons of chances to win this game. They blew it everytime. Michigan needs a lot of work in order to just get thru the big ten schedule.
DesertWing 11 Report post Posted September 10, 2005 Well, I'm sure they'll bring their 'A' game next week vs EMU. My favorite part of this is the scUM fans. They've been trash talking since last winter about their "upcoming football national championship" and now they'll spend the next two weeks making excuses with their "woulda, coulda, shoulda". Arrogant ***cks. OVERRATED OVERRATED OVERRATED!!!
timothy1997 0 Report post Posted September 10, 2005 if michigan is lucky, then will end up in the outback bowl. Ohio State, Iowa, and Purdue are all a step above michigan.
DesertWing 11 Report post Posted September 10, 2005 I bet Michigan beats Notre Dame by 40 this year. Would you like to apologize for that prediction?

I am a spartan fan. I get more jubilation when michigan loses. When Michigan State wins, I am kinda surprised more than anything.

It's funny, most of the Spartan fans I know get a bigger kick out of hoping Michigan loses, then they do rooting for their own team to win??? I don't know how you can root for Notre Dame with a straight face - I always pull for the Spartans when they play the Irish....

timothy1997 0 Report post Posted September 10, 2005 i know its against hawaii..but michigan state winning 28-0 with 9 mins left in the 2nd quarter. State looks like a completely different team than they were last year. Kinda early to consider them a darkhorse, but maybe

However, our football program has historically been inferior to UofM's. I love seeing an MSU football victory, but the past few seasons I've honestly gotten more enjoyment from a UofM loss. I'm sure there are Wolve's fans that feel the same way during basketball season!
timothy1997 0 Report post Posted September 10, 2005 Michigan state looked pretty good today. Who is this Javon Ringer kid? All of a sudden this running back looks like a complete blue chip. I always thought that Caulcrick is the #1 back this year...kinda nice to have another good back too. All of this should help out Stanton run this offense. I think the spartans could be a darkhorse this year and make a run at a bowl or more. Excellent young kids at michigan state.
gowingsgo 3 Report post Posted September 11, 2005 Texas will stomp OSU. Vince Yong is pretty damn unstoppable. Likewise, Notre Dame will probably run up the score on Michigan. (better coaching) I'm going to have the same deal with college football thar I have with MLB. Fix whats wrong with the game and I'll watch again. MLB refused to ban Barry Bonds and all the "alleged" steroid users so I refuse to watch a game. College football didn't fix the postseason disgrace of the BCS and its elitist bowl games, I have no desire to watch regular season college football highlighted by a great regular season and no way to distinguish a true national champion. Countdown to the NFL........7 days.....4 if you are a Raider-Patsy fan I really dont believe that you know much about college football. I didnt have to watch a second of the ND-UM game to know the outcome beforehand. If this doesnt show again that Coach Carr is an ultra-conservative then I dont know what will. Texas aside from their turnovers HANDLED OSU. OSU couldnt put the ball in the end zone v an undersized Texas defense. The OSU D played a damn fine game v Young, but Texas went to the air and wore the Bucks out. I guess I still dont know diddly about football eh? OSU and UM were both highly over-rated to start the season
timothy1997 0 Report post Posted September 11, 2005 I like the way texas came back in the ohio state game. Texas's defense dominated that game. If texas doesnt make it to the rose bowl this year, its time to get rid of mack brown. Texas has all the pieces together to at least give USC a run for the championship. SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted September 11, 2005 Texas is at least in the driver's seat for #2 That could be a safe bet, and I think they'll beat OU this year, they haven't looked good barely beating Tulsa University and losing to my school last week, who also played like a bunch of f***tards and losing to the lowly SMU Mustangs last night (not surprised they played down to the competiton). There's still plenty of football to be played, but with the first two weeks gone you have to wander if OU will be top-10 this year.
