I am a Sir Dallas Drake slappy.. no need for them to stop on my account... or did my bringing their age up offend the poor kiddies.. I mean seriously though I have been a fan for some 22 years now... some of them are barely 18 I laugh. I laugh a lot. I laugh hard. you cant base everything on how old they are or how long they have been a fan though. Someone can be a fan for 50 years and know less than someone who has been a fan for 4 years. It depends on the person. not their age or time frame of being a fan. that said there are a few people on here who are young and do make stupid posts and it is them who brings the intelligence of all younger posters in the eyes of the older posters. There are also some older fans who are just as bad if not worse than some of the younger ones. its all just very stupid. Dont judge a person on how long they have been a fan or how old they are, look at their posts and see if they have good points (whether or not they agree with you or not) and then decide how you feel about them. Not look and see they only have 50 posts, joined 6 months ago, and are only 18, they can still know a hell of a lot about hockey. (this wasnt directed at you Brandon....lol I just had to vent lol) here is the post of the guidlines for those of you who missed it in the other thread I have a theory, twenty percent of this board (or more) have never played hockey at any level. furthermore, of that 20% i bet a high degree of them started watching hockey in the last 4 years maybe. Lastly, more than a few of their collective hockey knowledge stems from playing video games and watching a few red wings games here and there. I don't usually fight , but I had too last night to stick up for my friends. not bragging or anything....yep i am but the guy was huge compared to me , i kicked his ass and i never got hit once . I wonder where the OPer falls into his own generalization? Me personally I only joined this site because my other site closed down for funding reasons... I did go by another name on here, i wonder what that start date would have looked liked. OMG I just had me 2nd anniversary of joining under this handle a week ago... It doesn't take getting hit with a puck to know that, but you probably have to have that happen too just to be a fan. Besides a TRUE fan would know if people were watching 4 years ago they would be watching a blue screen due to a lock out. May be it's a good thing I don't know where this thread is. I turned it on yesterday morning and its like trying to compute (which I guess is the verb for "running a computer") in molasses. Working on virus scans/spyware scans/registry cleanups/disk cleanup/defragging/etc... But I fear it may be an internal issue. In which case I am the saddest of all possible pandas.
