Offsides 21 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 Now where was this kinda defense for Ozzy? Amen, sister. Ozzie would have been being flame broiled by goal #2...if that would have happened to him people would be screaming for his head. But it was just a bad bounce. PredChef 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 They will rule that no goal. BUt the Bruin so did that on purpose. Diving at its worst.
edicius 3,269 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 No goal. Boston player should have gotten a delay of game. Calder didn't cause that.

But it was just a bad bounce. I acknowledge the bad bounce...but it did seem as though Dom was extraordinarily slow getting back into position. A bit quicker (more aware?) and he might have had a chance at that one. Might have just been the effect of the replay though.

terri27 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 (edited) I do not remember any case in which Ozzy took what was clearly a simple bad bounce. Last Sunday he did pretty good but just like today Hasek is alon on alot of saves that lead to a goal for the other team and Ozzy got trashed but Dom isn't. That's what I'm really referring to. Seems unfair to trash one goal and not the other when situations are really close to being the same. Must be Sunday games the D just doesn't work right. haroldsnepsts 4,826 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 They couldn't rule that a goal, looks like it would've hit the post if the net were on its moorings. The guy leaving his feet made it seem intentional though. The good news is that was a great set play detroit had to beat the 1-4 trap. They're using their speed.
