But at least there was a bright spot and that was Huddles. I really hope he can stick around when our guys are back. I really do. He's trying to earn a spot methinks.

I think it should be a comforting thought that the Wings have only lost like this 3 or 4 times this season. The majority of teams have to go through games like this. Hell, look at Ottawa. They were on fire and then they started blowing three goal leads in the 3rd period like it was their business.

Besides, the Wings can be a little generous and forfeit some points to a fellow original sixer trying to make the playoffs.

Grrr, I hate spending time watching my team lose, especially when it's bright and sunny outside.

They suck, the fans suck, all of you suck, except for me. In fact, I challenge any of you to a cage match - beware of the iron claw!!! There, I feel better already. I don't know if we'll finish first in the division or not. I just hope that we don't burn ourselves out trying for it, like we did last year.

The type of game that makes me want to punch infants.

I'll chalk this one up to the injuries...that and Boston got every bounce.

"Oh no! It's the sound that makes me want to punch infants!"

Boston played a good game. They got the bounces. That's all there is.

Doubtful. I daresay my hemoglobin count has long since elevated to compensate. By the way, oxygen volume does not change with altitude; only pressure does.

5' 9, single, and smart.

True. I forget how many guys were missing.

It's just disheartening to see some of the defensive breakdowns though.

Defense depends not only on the defensemen, but also on the forwards. We are missing a Selke-trophy candidate, and two more great defensive forwards in Franzen and Cleary, plus Markov.

Anyway, we're now 6-1-3 in our last ten. Buffalo, which is similarly injury-depleted--though not as bad now, with the return of Drury, provided that he's at 100%--is 5-4-1 in their last ten.
