Zetterberg is the man!! 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 Eh, take comfort in the fact that being a Sabres fan makes him a dick anyway. Nothing he can do can take away the fact that, as a Wings fan, you are better thanhe is. HELL YEAH!!
Offsides 21 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 But at least there was a bright spot and that was Huddles. I really hope he can stick around when our guys are back. I really do. He's trying to earn a spot methinks.
HockeyCrazy3033 168 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 Eh. Bad game for most of the Wings, didn't get good goaltending, and definitely weren't disciplined. It happens. I will say that Rex was by far the best Wing today.
YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 I think it should be a comforting thought that the Wings have only lost like this 3 or 4 times this season. The majority of teams have to go through games like this. Hell, look at Ottawa. They were on fire and then they started blowing three goal leads in the 3rd period like it was their business. Besides, the Wings can be a little generous and forfeit some points to a fellow original sixer trying to make the playoffs.

Hockeytown Red Wings 245 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 The type of game that makes me want to punch infants. I'll chalk this one up to the injuries...that and Boston got every bounce.
datsyukismyfriend 4 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 Doubtful. I daresay my hemoglobin count has long since elevated to compensate. By the way, oxygen volume does not change with altitude; only pressure does. the less pressure, the less o2 is consumed by the body.

Sgt. Angry 23 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 Grrr, I hate spending time watching my team lose, especially when it's bright and sunny outside. They suck, the fans suck, all of you suck, except for me. In fact, I challenge any of you to a cage match - beware of the iron claw!!! There, I feel better already. I don't know if we'll finish first in the division or not. I just hope that we don't burn ourselves out trying for it, like we did last year.
Kp-Wings 3 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 Oh well. This loss is meaningless. If anything it will make Hasek want to play better against Nashville. On the other bright side, I'd rather see the Bruins in the playoffs over Carolina.

Guest Crymson Report post Posted March 11, 2007 True. I forget how many guys were missing. It's just disheartening to see some of the defensive breakdowns though. Defense depends not only on the defensemen, but also on the forwards. We are missing a Selke-trophy candidate, and two more great defensive forwards in Franzen and Cleary, plus Markov. Anyway, we're now 6-1-3 in our last ten. Buffalo, which is similarly injury-depleted--though not as bad now, with the return of Drury, provided that he's at 100%--is 5-4-1 in their last ten. Schneids_is_awesome 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 I knew this game was going down the tubes when the announcers said sometime in the 1st "the wings have yet to lose to an original six team this year." Nice job douchebags.
