Nothing about Hasek's style is conducive to sitting in net where you're 'supposed' to be. If you want the 'slinky spine' saves and handstands, you've gotta take the 20 foot dives to go after pucks along with it all. Youre right its not like he has ever been plagued by injury because of his overy mobile style. They groin just agetates itself for no reason. Im just saying hes getting up there in age and still taking the chances a younger goalie would take, and it scaes mebecause id like to have him for playoffs ok? Exactly, you take the good with the bad. Thats just Dom being Dom. Take away that mobility that causes the injuries, and he's not nearly as effective. His groin got hurt because of his pads.... he did NOT get hit in the olympics or even have a chance to leave his net. I outright disagree.
