Even Redmond said a couple weeks ago that it seems that way. This is pissing me the hell off. Osgood played one of his best, if not best game of the season. He saved their asses and literally stole the Wings a point. 2 Minutes from a shutout and of course it goes off one of our guys. That's just Ozzie's luck. I am so f-ing pissed. Let that sink in. One ******* guy scores all our goals for three straight games. Samuelsson sucks balls by the way, he can do nothing right. Just another wrister right into the chest of the goalie. They showed up for part of the third and OT and - SHOCKER - it wasnt enough. I feel sorry for him too. I agree with everyone here. If we cant get it going against awesome teams (Vancouver), average teams (Calgary), and s***ty teams (Columbus), what else is there??? This team is coasting, but Im glad its happening now. Lilja and Lang are consistently botching up things (but at least Lang's got offensive upside lately) and Babcock gives them all the ice time in the world. Rex manages to keep scoring with limited ice time...and it stays limited. I realize he's on the inside looking out and we're on the outside looking in...but what is it that he sees that we don't? Is Rex really THAT bad at practice or something? Are Lilja and Lang the second coming of Bourque and Gretzky the day before a game? I just don't understand. edicius 3,269 Report post Posted March 23, 2007 ok 3 loses in a row = crapy but we did get a point and our record after losing 3+ games is really good like back in oct-nov we won 9 straight after losing 3 in a row and after losing 3+ in january we won 5 and at the end of jan we won 5 straight after droping 3 so this could turn out to be a blessing in the making? Yeah! We could, like, lose 3 straight in the playoffs and then...oh wait, that's panic city, never mind. Also, Bobby Lang is pissing me off lately. This coming from someone who loves him. He's such a GREAT player when he's on his game, but the problem is he takes nights off and just floats around. He's constantly giving up the puck, and being at the wrong place at the wrong time. How they can beat nashville in and home-and-home and then go 0-2-1 after... hopefully this is just a bad streak and not becoming a habit (because they aren't going to win too many games scoring one goal, no matter how awesome the goaltending is). Good to see Franzen mucking it up. Lang needs to call it quits. Osgood kept us in it, and looked a ton better than Hasek against the flames.
