You're right. If people cannot appreciate how in-game giveaways help the entire team, then I shouldn't really care about whether they apologize to Lang or not. It's called team defense - Langer knows how to prepare for the playoffs.

You do realize that a giveaway is turning the puck over TO the other team, right? This means that Lang ranks third amongst all NHL players in the number of turnovers he COMMITS, not those which he CAUSES.
