Thursday's Check-List

Rate this topic

Recommended Posts

Since I will probably be too excited and nervous on Thursday to do much of anything else, I've created a checklist of Red-Wing based stuff that I need to do to pass the time until game-time. If anyone else has one...please share! :)

-Get my jersey (Zetterberg) and wash my 2002 Stanley Cup Champs shirt to wear underneath.

-Stop by 7-Eleven and pick up a red (cherry) slurpee, with a red straw, of course!

-Get out the red car window paint, and decorate the heck out of my car. And put my Wings flag on one of my wingdows. <- (This will be my favorite out of everything!)

-Read the pre-playoffs Free Press sports section.

-Make my annual playoffs homemade sign. Even though the only people who see it is the fam (because I don't have tickets to the game) it's always fun to hold up.

-Twiddle my thumbs and sit restless until the puck drops.

Here's hoping that everyone has a great Thursday and that we can sleep easy on Thursday night with a lead in the series!

I have class on Thursday from 5:30 until 8:00, but I will be leaving early to uh-hum "tend to personal matters". Besides, I can go to class anytime. Watching the Red Wings in the playoffs is way more important than Macro Economics. We need a national holiday for the duration of the playoffs to eliminate all potential conflicts.

Things to do Thursday before Game 1 , Round 1:

*Set up the vcr on the t.v. to record "Grey's Anatomy".Hooked on that show & new episode thurs.

*Set up tv tuner on computer to watch and record Wings game.

*Pick between Larionov, Koslov or Yzerman jersey to wear.

*Order pizza (you know where it's coming from)

*Shine up that Wings thing in my avatar

*Gently caress the tix for Sunday's game 2.

*Watch with much noise (hooting, hollering, etc) as the Wings put all the doubters and critics to rest.

I have a 6-8, so not as bad but I can't miss because it is right before finals. I am having my roommate text me the score as the game goes. I will run my ass off from class to make it back by the beginning of the second period...sucks I have to miss the opening period of the opening game...boo college.
