I've said it before & I'll say it again - Hull is just ticked off because both the NHL & Detroit made Stevie's banner ceremony like some kind of a royal coronation event which included the who's who of hockey elite.

Hull, on the other hand, got a pat on the back and thank you very much - now get off the ice, we have a game to play in St. Louis. It was almost like they were saying that he was good enough for Blues banner, but not good enough to deliver the cup to them, so he didn't really get the royal treatment he probably thinks he deserves.

Hull is pretty funny. There's some good irony in his comment about how the Wings are crazy if they think they can just play a perimeter game without going to the tough places on the ice. Hull probably thought that was someone else's job on the team when he played here (and in fairness, it probably was), but still. Nobody epitomized an unwillingness to actually work hard out there more than Hull during those last couple of seasons in Detroit.

I liked Hull soo much better when he kept his mouth shut and scored goals for us... Now it seems that he's just bitter that he's a past figure of hockey, especially the Wings, and he hates it. He believes if he can't be a force on the ice anymore, then he'll try todo it by running his mouth as a so-called expert. being from st louis i always respected hull to some sence, but i also always hated the blues or the st louis boos as i like to call them, and when he came to the wings to play i was excited about it, and after he left to me he was just another player.

Just seems hes always running his mouth i truley think he misses the game and the only was to get his name in the news is to run his mouth off and try to stir things up.
