It doesn't appear even close. There are still decent seats in the lower & upper bowl, as well as standing room only.

It's a shame...if I were in MI right now, I'd buy tickets for me and my dad in a heartbeat.

I remember the Cup win in '97, I was friggin' working...but there was humor involved. I was a wedding videographer back in Michigan and we were at a wedding reception. Half the tables at the reception hall had people who had brought in portable TVs or radios, trying to get good broadcast signals. Needless to say, uh, we weren't concentrating on shooting footage as much as we should have been. Some guests were even wearing Wings jerseys (with shirt and tie underneath). Even the DJ was giving score updates as the night progressed, up until the point where we won and he was announcing over the speakers, "THE RED WINGS ARE THE 1997 STANLEY CUP CHAMPS!!! CONGRATS TO THE RED WINGS!!!". We were all high-fiving each other and everything.

The bride and groom weren't amused.

Thankfully in '98, I got to head down to Royal Oak right after we won Game 4 and reveled in the debauchery going on there and then got to experience the parade in Hart Plaza with a bunch of my classmates from Specs Howard (we were "shooting a project", allegedly).

And then in 2002...uh...I was in Jersey and I was like, "Woo hoo!"...and no one was around to high-five. (But at least I was in Michigan for a couple JoeVision games that round... :P)

Well they shouldn't have been so rude as to plan said event on Game 4 ;)

We carefully planned our wedding date so that neither of us would have to miss our own wedding due to the game being at the same time :D

LOL!! That's awesome.

I'd be doing that at my own wedding if I got married during playoff time. I'd probably inturrupt my own ceremony for a celebration

All the cheapies $63 seats are gone.

There are a few in the $126 range that offer good views... however I couldn't justify spending almost $260 for one game in the 1st round.

I'm too nervous to make a prediction and far too superstitious anyhow...I just hope the Wings go out and actually act like they want to win this series!

I've found that lately I have been mildly disappointed if goals are scored by Cleary, Sammuelson, etc. because I want to see Datsyuk and Hudler really stepping up, but for this series, I'm good with any goal. >_> One-Timer, Break away, or deflection...all the same to me! XD

Incredible looking signature there Offsides, might be the best I've seen anywhere

Rather than post a game prediction I'm going to predict how many total pages this thread is going to have by the end of the night! I'll say 58 and may we get a shot on goal for each page

Maltby will score a winner in OT on a fluke...haha no. Screw predictions right now, I kust want to see them play 60 minutes of Red Wings hockey or more than 60 if need be. But, if we play hard for the whole game we will win. Hopefully tonight is the first of sixteen. Go Wings Go!
