GoWings1905 2,694 Report post Posted April 17, 2007 (edited) Not to be rude, but they play Calgary on Tuesday and Thursday and if they take care of business, then we can discuss this. Until the Wings get that fourth win, there's no sense in trying to predict or even care about this. Let's just hope the Red Wings come out hard tomorrow night, and then we'll go from there. This series is far from over. Edited April 17, 2007 by GoWings1905

Jedi 1,865 Report post Posted April 17, 2007 Well, the Wings play Calgary at least twice more. But even that's getting a bit ahead of ourselves. Let's take this series one game at a time. Lest we forget the lessons against the Kings in '01, or (on the flip-side) against the Nucks in '02. A 2-0 series lead is great. But a 3-0 series lead is even better. Let's worry about that first. C-TownWing 0 Report post Posted April 17, 2007 Actually, the one that's always stood out to me is Colorado '99, just because it was one of the strangest and quickest turnarounds I remember. We went up 2-0 in the series, then in both games 3 and 4, we jumped out to early 2-0 leads (I think, it's been 8 years after all) and were flying all over the place, then all of a sudden, like a light switch went on, the Avs jumped down our throats, scoring a few goals unanswered to win those before putting us away in games 5 and 6 to end our dreams of a three-peat.
