Cruiser008 37 Report post Posted April 23, 2007 (edited) F.U. Calgary. Lebda and now Homer..... alll these a-holes with their dirty cheap shots do not belong in this league. There's no respect in this game anymore. Edited April 23, 2007 by Cruiser008
Vladinator 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2007 Can you say intentional high stick???????? That was not intentional. No player in his right mind would do that, especially at such a critical point in such a critical game.
superstarsingh 23 Report post Posted April 23, 2007 Perhaps we were missing Homer

seeinred 1,488 Report post Posted April 23, 2007 Warrener was totally looking for the ref on that one. What a diving *****. This is getting to be just like all the other times we lost, a s***load of chances we can't finish, and they'll get one and win the f***in' game. C'mon Wings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That seems to be how OT usually works, but here's hoping the Wings make an exception to that tonight.
Jedi 1,865 Report post Posted April 23, 2007 Can you say intentional high stick???????? No way was that intentional. He went to lift Homer's stick, and missed.
edicius 3,269 Report post Posted April 23, 2007 For those asking about Homer, they didn't really say much besides the fact they took him to the hospital. I don't understand why they'd have to though, since (I assume) the trainer or team doctor or whatever can stitch them up there. My guess is that he may have suffered an eye injury. seeinred 1,488 Report post Posted April 23, 2007 Sorry if I sound like an idiot, but what does QFT mean, NFM? Geesh I think I'm gunna be up all night QFT means Quoted For Truth, usually used to express agreement with another person I guess. I read somewhere that people used to quote and say it as evidence in case someone edited a post at a later time.

YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted April 23, 2007 The hi-stick on homer wasnt intentional. But Rhett "*****-Pansy" Warrener dropping to his knees like he was shot really pissed me off.
commadore183 103 Report post Posted April 23, 2007 Okay, Bernie is giving a motivational speech to the Wings. Zetterberg, so touched by it, will score three minutes into the 2nd OT and dedicate it to Bernie.
Matt 1,049 Report post Posted April 23, 2007 Better chances towards the end, but still too many shots from long range for my taste. I actually don't mind the long shots as long as you've got a guy down in front of the crease. If the Wings can just play steady, keep their shifts short and make good line changes (make sure that puck is DEEP!), they'll be okay.
seeinred 1,488 Report post Posted April 23, 2007 My guess is that he may have suffered an eye injury. That's what I was thinking too but I'm trying my hardest to stop thinking that.

edicius 3,269 Report post Posted April 23, 2007 The hi-stick on homer wasnt intentional. But Rhett "*****-Pansy" Warrener dropping to his knees like he was shot really pissed me off. Yeah, he was twitching all over the place like he'd been hit in the face with a puck...and then suddenly was magically okay. Giordano didn't gesture that much and he DID get hit with a puck. SliderJeff 11 Report post Posted April 23, 2007 Well, I'm the first person to cry foul when it comes to these totally ******* classless goons... but I think this was a legitimate "oh-s***" on Conroy's part... not intentional. That being said, I think Langkow is the biggest ******* 4 day old-rotting-in-a-Lousiana-swamp-with-an-aborted-half-rat-half-cat-fetus-attached douchebag that there is on Earth. Damn, then what's that make Iginla? Oh yeah, the blackened, pus-oozing ****** that the douchebag is used on. Here's hoping 2OT send the Flamers back to packing fudge on Brokeback Mountain. LET'S GO RED WINGS! Jeff
