puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 I love Dom, and absolutely love having him in the Wings crease, but to say he's the reason the Wings didn't lose 8-0 in game 1 is ridiculous. Not true. he's got a two-goal maximum. All the Wings have to do is go score when they need to, Dom will take care of the rest, despite the fact that he's got an uphill battle on his hands. 25 turnovers?? and only two goals. Dom is the reason the scores are not completely ridiculous, Mac. And that's a fact.
HockeyCrazy3033 168 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 Wings absolutely DOMINATED the 2nd period. Sharks got nothing going. We gotta score on early in the third. LETS GO WINGS!!!!!!!!

Dabura 12,232 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 I like how on both of sequences where Bert dislodged the net, the camera caught him going to the front, panned away, and then when it went back Nabby was sitting in the net.

servo 15 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 Because of circumstances out of my control, I won't be able to watch the rest of the game live until tonight. Hang in there guys, keep the puck on the net and pursue rebounds and you'll be fine. LETS GO WINGS! Win this one for a series tie to go to the shark tank! RedWingsFanatic 4 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 (edited) I think all the line juggling is messing up with the chemistry. I like the addition of Bertuzzi onto the Datstyuk/Zetterberg line a lot, but I don't think Babcock needs to be messing with Draper/Maltby/Cleary at all. If we are consistenly rolling three different forwards out every time we change lines, it makes for a difficult situation. I understand you want to create some jump and and some spark, but I think you have to trust that things will come. I agree that something seems to be wrong with Lidstrom. Even though he led the team in points during the first round, he still seemed a bit off. Now, it's becoming even more evident. He's not his usual self. puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 Loo, Hasek IS a HOF goalie. He made a few good saves in this game and many in the last one. I hope and believe that he will contribute to the Wings victory today. But he did make two bad mistakes and cost the team 2 goals in this game. Give the credit where it's due, but accept the blame when it's deserved. I don't see how he was to blame on goal 1, but think what you want (he didn't turn the puck over, I don't think??) I concede the second would likely not have happened if Dom hadn't tried too hard to play hockey instead of goal. That means the rest of them need to show up, and he won't do that. Bad habit he has, trying too hard. It comes back to bite him on occasion. The few good saves on the few shots he saw were back breakers in game 1. Game 1 was won in the first 10 minutes. Dom didn't need to do anything after that. That's my point. He did though, and kept it from being ridiculous. The Sharks don't need any more encouragement and energy. redwingsfan19 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 I can't believe this, I thought the wings would blow away the sharks in this game. I don't know what their problem is, if they don't win this game I don't see them continuing to the third round at all. They better get their s*** together! aflac9262 211 Report post Posted April 28, 2007 (edited) and Berts was any better? Yes, Bertuzzi was much better. He goes hard to the net, and has an assist this afternoon. Draper is a -1 I think. So chomp on that Edited April 28, 2007 by aflac9262

If he hadn't done that we would be tied right now instead of behind.
