Guest Crymson Report post Posted May 3, 2007 This ought to teach belief to all the naysayers on this board. Always have faith in our boys; your support is all you can give. Go team. What. a. game. I still can't breathe! When Lang scored I was like...three words: lazy, sucks, AWESOME. He is so clutch! And Schneider YOWZA with the game winner! This really makes up for Monday's game. And what's best is we have the momentum going home. I'm so stoked! There's no way I can sleep right now. GO WINGS! I was in a blind range at how Lang was on the ice with the empty net... my rage was such that my eyes were out of focus when he scored. My (non-hockey-fan) friends thought it was pretty hilarious. So did I.

corvette80 1 Report post Posted May 3, 2007 I do have to say, I didn't think they would win. But hopefully with Homer back it will give them motivation for game 5 in Detroit. We really need Homer BAD for this series if we want to move on. Look what he brought to the table today already, I don't think nabby was ready for him. Good luck wings for game 5. Play the WHOLE game.

DreamsofHope 2 Report post Posted May 3, 2007 "Tomas Holmstrom, playing his first game since he injured his eye when Calgary's Craig Conroy hit him with his stick April 22 in Detroit's series-winning victory over the Flames, scored a power-play goal in the final seconds of the second period to start Detroit's comeback. Holmstrom went back to the locker room in overtime with an apparent injury." That is all TSN had to say about it.

That is all TSN had to say about it. the versus guys mentioned homer flexing his leg before he went to the locker room, too. but then they said he skated "hard" to the bench during the break when he went down to the locker room. if he was skating hard to the bench it would seems it's an equipment issue and not an injury. i don't know. and i hate not knowing. especially at 1:30 in the morning. rageous 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2007 (edited) Unbelieveable game. I am amazed that these are actually our Red Wings... coming back from behind with heart, grit and determination when it counts. Good job boys! And to Lang: This night, you'll hear no more complaints from me. I still think you've seriously undeperformed and taken up a valuable roster slot, but that goal (provided DET wins this series) could be every bit as big as Lid's goal against Vancouver. Thank you! Yeah I thought the exact same thing. How could he be skating hard if he hurt himself with a lower body injury. Just didn't add up, but I suppose neither did him not coming back.... Ahhh! This is killing me. We neeeeed him.

Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted May 3, 2007 God... do you guys realize how close they were to losing this game? That empty net and that blocked shot, there's just one point in the season, one play, that turns everything on its ear, that gives the Wings life and the ability to win this series. I'm in awe of it, really. What a game. Mad props to the Paralyzed Snow Angel of Defeat for its timeliness and effectiveness in helping tie the series, the Demolition Man for giving the Wings the boost they needed, Bob for being a stupid bum who scores big goals, and Matt for taking dumb penalties but then nailing the OT winner. On this day, I love you all.
