HockeyCrazy3033 168 Report post Posted May 12, 2007 Ticketmaster is officially closed as of 6pm... The only way to get tickets is to go down to the joe now. But really what is the big deal if it is sold out or not? I mean the Wings know (and have stated in interviews) that just because fans are in the seats at the joe doesn't mean basements and bars across the state are jam packed. The players can't help that their employer is a bunch of money whores. They know we still support them, so I just don't see the whole deal about selling out or not... especially now that a record is no longer on the line. 100% agree. Everyone needs to stop with the whole 'not selling out.' BS. The Wings are absolutely LOVED here in Michigan. It's not our fault we can't afford tickets! It's crazy. Being at the JLA is the best thing ever for a playoff game, but majority also have just as much fun at bars, and such with friends and family. Not selling out doesn't take anything away from the fans or how much the Wings are loved and they know that.

WingWarrior25 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2007 Did anyone get tickets for game 2 from Daily Stubs? I'm thinking about it, but not sure if i can make it yet. I'd like to hear about others experience with buying tickets from them.

Barrie 900 Report post Posted May 12, 2007 ditto its sad that nobodys going , i wish i lived in windsor Last night's attendance was 19,939 and the Joe holds 20,066. A lot of people are going! Not bad for a city who's Economy is in the toilet, and there's 2 other teams playing. The Wings are making a sh!t load of money right now. Having less than 200 empty seats isn't a big deal at all. Jon_G 6 Report post Posted May 12, 2007 I'm going to try to get tickets from either dailystubs or stubhub tomorrow morning. I'll post here and let people know how it goes.
HockeyCrazy3033 168 Report post Posted May 13, 2007 If you purchase the tickets without it saying it can be emailed, how do you get them?
OsGOD 3 Report post Posted May 13, 2007 (edited) If you purchase the tickets without it saying it can be emailed, how do you get them? Well they will mail them to you... And you probably will get them after the game is over Thats what the lady said on the phone yesterday for all those buying after 6pm... they would get them monday or tuesday via mail.... Lot of good that does. I need someone with a current experience about this site to post before I buy from them... to be honest. Many tickets just dropped to $33! Flip-check 6 Report post Posted May 13, 2007 (edited) I need someone with a current experience about this site to post before I buy from them... to be honest. Many tickets just dropped to $33! I can't even find any mention of them anywhere else online, except a rare batch of ads on some sites and one stray comment that google yielded, from someone on last.fm citing Dailystubs in a "that's how I got mine" reference to Fall out Boy tickets. I almost would want to gamble on the $30 seats, even though they're only sections 204/212. The actual tickets I'd want are those upper bowl row sixes.. and they're listed for the same $110 on a few other sites too, we'll see. Flip-check 6 Report post Posted May 13, 2007 I am not feeling the whole "If we can't get 'em to you in time we'll find another delivery method." Don't wanna try the "wish upon a star" or the day after ways of getting the tickets HC? No doubt. If the deal were sweeter I might definitely roll the dice... but then again, if they were sweeter I'd probably doubt the credibility of the site even more. This is a great game coming up, dammit! #19forPresident! 1 Report post Posted May 13, 2007 Well I dunno about $30 tickets, might be legit, sounds fishy. A friend of mine from Vancouver who is envolved in law enforcement has told me about scams with phony emailed tickets for Canucks games in the past, but I also know that you can get legitimate tickets that way too. I would guess it depends on the reliabilty of the source, the price is what would make me suspect, but that just goes back to the old addage if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I've already got my center ice seats for tommorow so I'm glad I don't have to take my chances; a pair of $158 tickets couple rows into the second teir for $99 each, gogo ebay and fedex overnight! Hopefully we can head west up 2-0, atmosphere has been great at the Joe for the Calgary and SJ games I went to, so it should be well worth the $ tommorow. Here's to winning
Vladiator 116 Report post Posted May 13, 2007 Almost seems to be a "too good to be true" with these prices. I'll check back Sunday morning to see if anyone picked up tickets for Game 2 on this site or if someone actually got tickets for Game 1 and actually made it to their seats. With these printable tickets from the PDFs the potential for fraud is way up there. I have tickets for Game 5 but if I could pick up some tickets for that cheap, I would be very tempted to pull the trigger on some of those cheap Game 2 emailed tickets. OsGOD 3 Report post Posted May 13, 2007 (edited) a pair is now $25!!!! Somebody other than me do it! I am follower, not a leader when it comes to spending my hard earned money! How about some of those $167,000.00 salary people in the other threads anty up some pocket change to see if they are legit? After all if $100 isn't much to spend on tickets $50 for a pair sure as hell shouldn't be That way you can ease the mind of us lil' income folk to buy these tickets and go to the game. redwingschick33 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2007 I bought a pair for $25 at 9:45am, but haven't received the tickets by email yet. It's still early and I'm sure I have to wait for whoever's tickets those are to email them to me. I figured I could take a chance on $25. I'll let you guys know how it goes... Oh, 3-4 people at RedWingsCentral.com used the site and got their tickets on time and used them at the game. http://rwctalk.proboards98.com/index.cgi?b...1312&page=
redwingschick33 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2007 I just got an email saying someone else bought the tickets I thought I had purchased right before I did so that's why I had not already received the tickets. I called the ticket office and my credit card will not be charged. I'm going to keep an eye on ticket prices (I can't afford $55 for a seat behind the net) and if it goes lower I'll buy 2 and let you guys know how it goes! Maybe I read it wrong, but i thought i saw something on their site saying if you bought tickets that were not available they would then exchange them for tickets of equal or greater value. I'm a little diassapointed to hear that they didn't offer you some other tickets, but at least your credit card wasn't charged.
SFWarrior60 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2007 I bought tickets yesterday off a similar sight (motownsportstickets.com). The site works as a middle man between the seller and the buyer. I clicked on the 15 dollar shipping then in the special instructions I wrote please email to my address. With in 5 minutes I got a call from the seller, he emailed me the tickets in 15 minutes and took the 15 dollar fee off the price of the tickets. I was very impressed. The only thing to make sure of is that the tickets do say email delivery available. Oh yeah, make sure you have adobe acrobat reader also!
