Guest DetroitIan Report post Posted July 16, 2007 He deked out Brian before he amde his way to Broduer if im not mistaken. That was Colin White that he deked. Rafalski came in well after that and hit Aves from behind. Colin White is number 5. Rafalski was 28.
Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted July 16, 2007 If I was in the NHL , I would totally do pushups when I scored
HockeyCrazy3033 168 Report post Posted July 16, 2007 hes grittier then grits thats for you reem hahaha you know it! He's easily a 2nd liner , but I'd give him a regular shift with Cleary and Maltby. Avery can fight , Maltby can do the agitating and Cleary can score the goals. *drools* *drools* x2. That would easily be my favorite line.

Mudvayneowns91 0 Report post Posted July 16, 2007 I agree with the people who want him back, but has there been any actual interest from the Wings? I don't get to here Wings local media or here much about who we're interested in besides on this site.
Zetter is Better 0 Report post Posted July 16, 2007 Avery would complete the team if we signed him. The Wings would be getting a little closer to their mid 90's roots.

egroen 384 Report post Posted November 14, 2008 (edited) Avery is a cancer though I enjoy him being in the NHL... on OTHER teams. Avery was traded from Detroit because of his attitude - and this was way before his clown show really took off. Yzerman had talks with him about his attitude and they liked his potential as a hockey player, but it was obviously not going to work out given the makeup of Detroit's locker room. There is not a chance in hell Holland would consider him for a second, considering his antics since he left, let alone Yzerman or anyone else in management. Ps... nice bump, I thought this was the one started recently. Edited November 14, 2008 by egroen
