According the Red Wings official site, Drake will wear the #17, Rafalski will wear the #28, and Quincy will wear #45. Obviously not all the numbers are correct on the roster, but those 3 appear to be updated.

Also i think #17 is a bad choice everyone who has worn it since Hull has sucked its like the Curse of the Hull (Calder, Norton) Not that i have high hopes for drake anyway

Calder didn't suck. He was amazing up until the playoffs, where Clearly something was off. Be it injury, or something behind the scenes none of us fans knew about.

i'm half guessing that Calder was already playing at 100% before the playoffs, so when everyone else stepped up, he just couuldn;t match

Sheesh he made a mistake, lighten up a bit.

Anyways, #82 is kind of a cool number, but Kopecky should've just gone completely out of the box and wore a fraction or an equation or a letter of the greek alpha bet, like 5/16 or (PI)(r-squared) or Theta.

I highly doubt that. He hurt his hand in the Flames series. Whether Holland likes to admit that or not is up to him, but it was reported several times by different sources that he was playing with a broken bone in his hand.

1st week or two? He was probably the best Wing from the time he came to the team till the last month of the season. He worked his ass off every shift, and chipped in constantly.

55fan, he is so good that they are taking the number down from the rafters. It hasn't been announced yet because they have to consult with the legal department and the family.
