Dan Lacouture or Kip Brennan would be nice.

Bring back Joey!!!! :P j/k

Why would the Wings want to sign someone who was an early cut by another team. It would be a different story if a player was a late cut and the team that cut him was just too deep, but Lacouture and Brennan would just be a waste of money and a roster spot.

It would be great to have the Griffins make offers to players like Alexandre Giroux and Wade Brookbank. They'd really help the Griffins and they're both former Griff players. Plus, Brookbank is a pretty tough customer who would be a welcomed enforcer when needed.

Montreal Canadiens place the following players on waivers:

- Yann Danis

- Corey Locke

- Jamie Rivers

- Mathieu Biron

- Cory Urquhart

- Duncan Milroy

- Andrew Archer

Mathieu Biron was a great prospect not long ago and cant be more than 25. He must have injury issues or something ,I seem to recall a knee injury....

He's huge and largely immobile. He's 27 now.

27 wow...the years fly by. I think a knee injury must have robbed him of some mobility then because he was very mobile as a junior.

No, we should sign Cloutier and then trade for Emery so that we can have some more toughness on this team.

Brilliant! Could finally end the debate.

New York Rangers place Dairius Kasparaitis on waivers.

That was just a matter of time. I wonder if anybody picks him up..... but doesn't he have a big ole contract?

Whats the deal with Oleg?

Thats a good question I have always thought Oleg to be a solid blue liner, the only thing that I can figure is that he has not been on to many good teams besides the Canes last yaer at 6'1" and 211# he should be able to land a job someplace

He was in Manchester last year playing for the Monarchs. He was good for the AHL, showed some good leadership for the young guys, but he looked over matched at times in the AHL.

He's signed in Russia for 5 years, so I'd say he's not coming back across the pond.

They gotta find a sucker taker for his salary for extra cap space...Too bad he's worn out.

Wasn't this supposed to be his comeback year, he was lighter, in better shape, and he had a haircut!!
