Anyways, he's using former NHL players for the hockey scenes, two of which are Bob Probert and Jamie Allison. Probert plays an L.A. GMRwings1983 8,804 Report post Posted September 24, 2007 I remember there was once a time when movies were actually good. As much as I love Slapshot, it's unfortunately one of the only good hockey movies ever made.

GMRwings1983 8,804 Report post Posted September 24, 2007 Miracle was a VERY good movie, I also liked Mystery, Alaska.... Miracle was a great movie. Mystery, Alaska looked like it was directed by an espn anchor. It was horrible. What I was saying in my post is that there haven't been as many good hockey movies as there could be. Mickeyisms Rule! 0 Report post Posted September 25, 2007 Miracle was a great movie. Mystery, Alaska looked like it was directed by an espn anchor. It was horrible. What I was saying in my post is that there haven't been as many good hockey movies as there could be. I'm beginning to think that there really isn't anything in this world that you like. 'Course it may be just that I have to look up the nose of your Dragonball-Z character avatar every time I read one of your posts. Mystery, Alaska wasn't a good hockey movie. It was a good movie that happened to have hockey in it. It wasn't about the hockey, but about the people. And of course it was going to look like the hockey part was shot by ESPN. After all, ESPN still had the national TV rights to the NHL when it was released.
