Go to http://www.joost.com/, download and install their viewer and you have a ton of TV channels on your computer... VERSUS too !!

Joost has live feed of Versus? I was not aware of this. Can someone confirm that this works? I looked on the Joost site and they have a bunch of hunting programs listed under the Versus channel. I just want to know if this is a viable option to watch the game tonight instead of going to BW3 which is always a pain in the ass because nobody likes hockey and they always change the channel on me.

I don't know. That is what I am trying to find out. I have Center Ice, but my asshat cable company (Time Warner) will not provide Versus where I live.

Presumably, if Joost has a live Versus feed, then it should be on at 7.

I think Hank, Nick, Draper, Homer, Cleary, and Fil will score. The ducks will score one or not at all.

Maybe if we're lucky the score board will fall and crush all the ducks and we'll win by default.

Although, it does have some very cool stuff. There is an NHL Classic Games channel, which has 20 or so great games from the past, including 1964 SCF Game 6 Leafs vs. Wings.

It also has an NHL 2007 Playoffs channel, where you can re-watch any of the Wings games from last year's playoff run.

Ok, thanks. I think I will give it a try anyway when I get home from work.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I think this is one area where the NHL could seriously improve its fan relationship: make the games more available. I know they are involved in contracts with Versus, but not everyone gets Versus. If they put the stupid advertising blackout issue aside, they could have a major break though by putting games online for free so other people who otherwise don't have access can watch.

They carry it in Dayton on channel 57. I live in Lebanon, which by some other service providers like phone companies, is considered South Dayton. It is so aggrevating! Plus I keep hearing commercials on the radio "The NHL is back! Catch the Detroit Red Wings and Anaheim Ducks on Versus weds at 7. Call Time Warner at 513 xxx-xxxx to get Versus today!" Then when you call Time Warner, they say "That ad is not our ad, it is done by somebody else. All I can do is log a request that you called." Assbags. I have been calling them every week since March and have gotten nowhere.

I'm pretty sure that you can't get a live feed of versus on Joost. I downloaded it last month and it had a New York Rangers playoffs game on. I think it is just archived material from shows on versus, which sometimes includes a hockey game. Not 100% on this though.

All I know is, we better not boo the guy every time he touches the puck. I mean, he didnt even play 15 games for us. Im not expecting us to cheer the guy or anything. But to boo him really doesnt make sense. I think it will just be a neutral reception. Im way more interested in seeing how the crowd reacts to Schneider(whenever he eventually comes off IR).
