Here is a link to Marty Biron's blog for the Flyers 10 day road trip to start the season.

It has pictures and movies from the trip. It's pretty cool. I have always wondered about life on the road.

P.S. Day one is at the bottom of the page.

 Why do they wear their pads on the bus? They look like 5 year olds coming to the rink in all their gear.

Because someone told them that their bus was now boarding and they didn't want to get hurt.

Seriously, they were just going from one rink to another.

I think that it would be really cool for the wings to do somthing like this.

My question to all of you is which wing would you want to write it up?

My first thought is Ozzie. It has always seemed like he has a lot of fun and i think it could be funny to hear his thoughts on the road and what goes on.

eidt: you'll want to look for posts from pred303guy and Handtrick, those are the two who went on the trip.

Thanks for posting this. It was a very interesting read.

But I couldn't help but laugh over all the complaining about the travel and time differences. This is what teams like Detroit and Columbus (not to mention every PST team) has to put up with all year long.

Suck it up!
