No way to get any rhythm or momentum killing 28 minutes of penalties. For those who are going to say Dom wouldn't have played as well as Oz did tonight. You have no way to know that. Why people would care about this is beyond me. What Dom "might" have done. What Ozzie "might" have done on Monday. The point is that Ozzie played great tonight, and Dom is still a phenomenal goalie that will lead this team as well. Great situation the Wings have in net right now. IMO, Downey has done nothing but provide solid play for the Wings. Hes thrown some hits, hes gotten a fight in, and he did a great job of cycling the puck against the Ducks. If he did, it didnt seem to do any damage, but none of our skill guys should have even been on the ice at the end of a game that was in the bag. Especialy after Thornton just got nailed in the face. They were physical, they got some nice production and pressure from numerous lines and they actually got better as the game progresed, which rarely seems to happen. I couldn't not smile during his interview after the game. Ozzie again played amazingly. Deserves start, and many more. Also nice to see downey throw down.
