Flip-check 6 Report post Posted October 25, 2007 It was close at the end.. that was great puck movement on the PP. Thing is, Vancouver isn't really bringing it tonight. I don't exactly want them to start, but this isn't the best Canucks team we could face.
Hockeytown Red Wings 245 Report post Posted October 25, 2007 Did they say that Bud Lynch lost an arm in WWII? If so, I'm surprised to say I never knew that.
edicius 3,269 Report post Posted October 25, 2007 I just love it when they score. I just love it when I score. Oops, wrong thread. That was a good looking period for us. No major parade to the box either. Can't let up in the 4rd though, as we have been wont to do lately.
redwingfan19 293 Report post Posted October 25, 2007 It's too bad ZDH is going to get broken up with the return of Franzen and Drake, but it will be good to get those two back.
russianswede919293 95 Report post Posted October 25, 2007 Hudles seems to be falling out of favor with the babcockles again. He seems to be getting less ice time... auxlepli 17 Report post Posted October 25, 2007 Arriving late to the party. Checked the game summary and surprise! Holmstrom called for goaltender interference again. Please tell me, was it deserved or another phantom penalty?

puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted October 25, 2007 Nor did I. And it was a phantom penalty, auxlepli. Homer got barely nudged into Luongo by Ohlund. Luongo leaning into it and waving his glove around helped with the illusion, as well. Credit where it is due!

auxlepli 17 Report post Posted October 25, 2007 And it was a phantom penalty, auxlepli. Homer got barely nudged into Luongo by Ohlund. Merci. Glad to see the Wings up. Hopefully they'll get two or three more in the third. I know about Bud Lynch - WWII vet and that he lost his arm. I'm looking forward to reading his book. Yeah, I agree. We definitely can't let up in the 4rd. But if we do I'm sure Henrik will rule the day for-ty us. GO Z!@

I know about Bud Lynch - WWII vet and that he lost his arm. I'm looking forward to reading his book. The book does sound interesting. Should be a good read for sure. I still can't believe all the years that I've listening to Bud Lynch call goals and as many times as he's been talked about, it was never mentioned that he was missing an arm. Bud Lynch is one badass mofo. To the 4rd we go. Go Wings!

Flip-check 6 Report post Posted October 25, 2007 Okay, so: what is more interesting Watching Babcock mumble out his answers in the hallway OR Watching Lilja rhythmically bump his butt against the glass in the hallway. You are an anomaly Andreas Lilja.
