Take note, Hasek: That's how you handle a puck. Good work Ozzie.

This team needs to stop taking so many damn penalties.

Downey would "rather leave him (Shelley) on the ice" LOL! Nice crack.

Im pretty sure if theyre on the ice at the same time in the 2nd, they'll be going.

Can't watch the game, but 17 shots against in the first period??

what the heck is going on??

Honestly? I think our D trusts Ozzie more to stop the shots right now. Just seems to be the way it's looking. Same number of shots last night came out to four goals against.

Pretty amazing how well a goalie can play when he ACTUALLY faces shots in a period. If Dom was in tonight, the score would be the same.

Please tell me how you know that. Can you read the future/what would happen in different situations?

While I guess I'm overall happy with the results that was a rough period for us. We still have the bulk of that 2-man advantage (Nash was penalized but he looked like he was shot with a howitzer and the other guy tripped over his own feet) to kill off and our 5-on-5 has been lackluster. Ozzy's been solid though a little careless in controlling the rebounds but seeing Lidstrom this offensively strong gives me a lot of confidence for the rest of the game.

thanks for trying, now go enjoy the game!

:D

Just found this on a forum.

First of all you have to download this program: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ (It´s avaible for MAC)

And open the stream on this player.

"I found a way to open thoose ESPN 360 streams with VLC.

If you go into:

Settings >> Preferences... in VLC

Then go to:

Input / Codecs >> Access modules >> MMS

And enable "Advanced options", then the "Force selection of all streams" tick box should appear. Tick it and press "Save", and the video should then play.

It works for me. But it opens two windows.

I found out that the mms stream contains two streams (Track 1 and Track 2). 1 has a lower bitrate and 2 has a higher bitrate. I guess that in WMP it choose the best one to use appending to your internet bandwith settings but in VLC you have to do it this way.

In the window with the player choose Video >> Videotrack >> Disable and both windows will disappear. Do it again but now choose Video >> Videotrack >> Track 1 or Track 2.

"

If Dom was in net, Babcock would have forfieted after the 15 goals Columbus would have scored

Because they haven't had 4 f'n breakaways on their 17 shots and the shots they've taken so far have been pretty mundane with Ozzie being able to see them. I'm not saying Osgood isn't playing well, he's been great tonight, but come on, anyone with hockey knowledge knows what are easy shots and what types of saves a goalie can make seeing the TYPES of shots Ozzie has faced tonight.
