He's always falling back in potential breakaway situations, dropping his stick to cover a shooter- all the things that a great defensive forward does. Guest MrSandMan Report post Posted December 20, 2007 Good game tonight. Nice to see Dom back and he's playing solid. He made some huge saves. One went in off Lids skate and the other he'd probably like to have back, but overall.. great game. I think Babs benched Ozzy because he threw Babcock's 200th career winning puck into the crowd last game. Now Babs will have to browse ebay and buy it back. sucks! Cleary is doing great, love watching him. He's got spunk. Hudler is really impressive, I was all for trading him away for a gritty player... but now I think he could bring us something even better in return. As usual, Zetter, Dats, and Holmer are tearing it up. They play like the best line in NHL. Wait, they are the best line in NHL, right? Glad they are Wings! Ralf made a nice shot, wicked fast and hard.. hit a goal post, lovin his game, glad we have him. I like him better than Schneider. Draper is came in like he didn't miss a beat. Playing like his normal solid self. His knee doesn't seem to slow him down. I want to see Sammy and Franzen picking it up. They are not bringing much, they are capable of much more. Elli, Drake, and Kopecky are a nice solid energy line, I feel good when they are out there. Kopecky I think will be a great depth player... and I feel like he could turn into a clutch player, he seems to be strong on the puck and has alot of determination. I like the kid. Filpula, this guy is fun to watch.. sometimes he makes stupid plays and slight mistakes, but overall, he is great. Kronner... he is our future, I know he'll be a #2 defensmen someday. And like everyone else said, Lebda and Lilija are good for this team. They came a long way and I think Babcock, Lids, and Chelio helped them find their game. That's my view of the game thus far.
