DreamsofHope 2 Report post Posted December 27, 2007 Here's to the Wings winning tonight by a lot. I don't need a bunch of fairweathered fans talking crap to me at the game tonight. 5-1 Dats (2), Flips, Huds and Franzie. Hejduk will be the lonely goal scorer. I'll be there dude. Where you sitting? I think we talked on myspace a while back. Ha ha. I'm from arvada as well.
NeverForgetMac25 483 Report post Posted December 27, 2007 Well lets see Holmstrom, Zetterberg and Maltby are out, Hasek is getting the start and the Wings played last night in St.Louis, and visiting the team with the best home record in the league. All signs lead to an Avs win. But I'm not going to expect an Avs win because Detroit always seems to compete no matter the circumstances. I didn't realize the game was in Detroit. Home Records Detroit: 16-2-1 Colorado: 15-3-0 It must be that special Denver Math that we're not used to in the midwest.
Mudvayneowns91 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2007 You going to the game? I'll be there but I'm nervous. Colorado always comes down on you hard when you lose and sometimes that can be hard to handle. They give you so much crap, so we need to win. If we all will it hard enough, it will happen right? Look for me on tv! Yeah, it really does get annoying when they give you crap for liking a different team. I hope we score on them quick and often so there's nothing the Avs fan can feed off from. Definitely going to have mind my tongue tonight.

Well, they're not very good seats.... Section 320 row 11, but we had to get them through a ticket broker. I just hope we don't get in a reck on the way there. Where are you sitting? Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted December 28, 2007 That'd be funny if the avs only had 4500 fans show up, regardless of the storm, I would laugh

puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted December 28, 2007 shoot-outs are not permitted today I just hope they are ready to play tonight. Tired from last night, bad travel, etc... I know they are professionals, but I've seen them play after a bad flight into an away game -- they got into Denver at 1AM this morning, so I wonder how well they will do tonight. The last time I saw this happen with travel ills in a back to back, the Wings skated like zombies and it was a disaster. I shall hope this particular brand of lightening doesn't strike twice. Simple human physiology does not stand in the WIngs' favor. But since when has that mattered? A team of superheroes we are. Bring it.
puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted December 28, 2007 Wooooo! Fiesty! God how I've missed it. You, me, and Loo together! No way can the Wings lose. If they should on some strange quirk it has nothing to do with us. sounds like the crowd at the Pepsi Ctr might rival the size of the group in here. Smyth is back in tonight. Maybe his re-entry will screw with the Avs chemistry and help us out, as if we need it.
