If they don't show up for Dom, then Babs had better play Ozzie more. C'mon pucklooo.....this is the same garbage the Ozzie loyalists were claiming last season. gcom007 1,465 Report post Posted January 3, 2008 I don't believe loo was showing bias with that statement. Just being honest really, and they have showed up in this game, and didn't in the last one. It's always going to be easier to win when the team scores. It doesn't really address the question though. I wasn't knocking Hasek and gave him his props. The statement was a bit irrelevant as I certainly wasn't saying Hasek sucks or Hasek shouldn't start b/c of that last game. He let in one goal. You can't complain about that. I ain't hating. gcom007 1,465 Report post Posted January 3, 2008 true. Which leads one to question why they didn't show. I for one don't buy the "we're too tired and there's the travel" excuse. Blues had the same sched. If they play better for Ozzie, then play Ozzie. Dom can't fix that. Here's where I say that I don't buy this argument anymore simply b/c Dom's played plenty well enough to win most every game he's been in during the last month. This shouldn't be an excuse for the team. I don't think it has anything to do with the goalies at this point, it's just sometimes teams have off nights and we've got a lot more young and inexperienced players than people remember at times. It's my opinion and my observation that Dom's had some rotten luck and been dealt bad games this season and he's taken the brunt of the criticism for several losses that belong to the team.
