Is anyone else worried that one of these times, Dom's just going to dump the puck right into our net when he comes out into the faceoff circle and then tries to shoot it behind the net? I never fails to scare me.

C'mon Wings! Close this one out!

no, since I've never seen him do that. Not saying it could never happen, of course.

Wings need to step on them the last couple of minutes. Do not let up, boyz!

This game is a lot closer than I'd like it to be.

On the plus side, Colorado's played a pretty competitive game. They've been excellent on defense and haven't taken many penalties. If the Wings hang on, I figure, the Avs gotta feel like they played the best game they could and still couldn't get past the Wings. Always a nice psychological edge.

Dom's second straight shutout! :D

Maybe a little too close, but I great game I think. Lots of energy, but the wings just didn't execute offensively very well (lots of fanned passes I noticed). Wings played awesome in the last 5 minutes.

Versus did everything they could to jinx Hasek, from saying the word "shutout" to flashing a graphic that Detroit has never beaten Colorado 1-0 in 91 regular season games. Wow, I would have been pissed if they scored after that.

Wings played a great defensive game and got top notch goaltending from Hasek.

I hate Versus, but I love the Wings. Shut out for Dom, again. Yeah, blah-blah, didn't have to do much to earn it, yadda-yadda -- just getting ahead of the nay-sayers, here!

Too close for comfort, Wings, but they seemed to know what they were doing out there, even so.

Good game for Jose, he was certainly not to blame for zero goal support.

Loo's 3 stars:

1. Dats

2. Homer

3. Dom

Red Wings have not let in more than one goal per game in the last four games!

1 - 0 against Colorado tonight, 3 - 1 against the Blackhawks, 3 - 0 against Dallas, and 4 - 1 against Dallas too. Both shutouts by Hasek.

Woot! That gets Dom's save percentage back over .900 for the year, finally! It was a long, hard road back from .869 or whatever it was. Pretty impressive since we don't really give up that many shots on goal. You almost have to be perfect to improve.

Over his last 11 starts, he's 9-1-1 with a 1.34 goals against (!!!!!!) and a .936 save percentage and 3 shutouts. Yikes.

i think kronner was great tonight.. and deserves a star

i also think dom had it pretty comfortable back there (especially in the 1st and 2nd). got a bit rough in the third but dom was rock solid

i REALLY don't like sammy on Z's line. it feels like a waste!

Harder to do when your team is stingy with allowed SOGs, for sure. So, he's been almost perfect - whatever it takes. Yeah, Dom!

Good win tonight. I wasn't impressed with the line combos, because the chemistry seemed to be lacking. Hopefully, they'll get that fixed. I'd switch Homer and Hudler around on the lines. Hasek looked really good tonight, and it seems that Babcock is intent on moving him into the starting position. That's just the way it seems to me.

I don't even remember the last time the supposed 'nay-sayers' ever discredited Dom of a shutout, or his good performance. But it's no surprise your so quick to jump in and post that. Is it really that hard for you to just accept a win from the Wings (regardless of who's in net) and not take little shots here and there towards whom ever it may be? I just don't get it. He played good, we know that. There are people on here that are not Dom fans, but in the end for the most part they give him credit like they should. Stop making it out to be more than it really is.

Did everyone catch that stat that the last time the Wings had given up this few goals through 43 games (44 now I guess) was 1955-56? That's insane! I think everyone deserves a ton of credit for that one...from Dom and Ozzie to the defense (Lidstrom) and all the way up to the forwards like Datsyuk who are working their asses off on the backcheck. Pretty darn impressive if you ask me.

If Ozzie can get a you-know-what in our next game, we'll be giving up exactly 2 goals per game. That's kinda gross.
