 no not at all... This storm of the Century was nothing like the storm that hit us New Years Eve.

The weather people are all frauds i tell you... make a living on predicting lies. Game will not be cancelled, plan on arriving at 7:30 and leave early because the Morons in the big ass Hummers that drive 3mph will be out in full force....cause they are too stupid to stay home :D

I just want to know where winter is where I am. I live about an hour from Philly and since the weekend before Thanksgiving I have had MAYBE 6" of snow. We have had more days in the 50s than days where it has snowed. Hell, I had 3 days in the 60s and one of them was nearly 70 in Jan. The next week we are supposed to be in the mid 40s+. I haven't even brought out a winter coat at all this year.

I predict we will get hit by one of those Nor'easters by the end of Feb.

I think every school district down here did... except for businesses. But it is not anything horrible as the news and media is saying. Game will go on as scheduled have no fears.

gvsu didnt cancel class =(, but we did get a snow day wednesday
Good thing I don't have Friday classes! :P

Utica district is still open, so my bro & sis still have school, haha!

and my old district Warren Con. is still open of course, because we never had a snow day there. EVER.

Where is this 8-10 inches that we were supposed to get!? There's like 2 inches on my lawn

News reports are saying the "heavy" snow warning is over now... Did it ever start?

THey also said that most of lower mich will have 10" and some parts with 13". i say 2 is more like it. Maybe the snow banks if you plow an entire parking lot of a strip mall and dump it in the same place would equal 13"

See Western didn't cancel on Wednesday, when we had that ice storm. My residence hall's side door was literally frozen shut (not to mention everyone's car doors), and class was unaffected. WMU owed us one.

It was warm enough to where shorts all December long, and the weather decides to dip down to the 40s Superbowl week of all days! (Live in Glendale, AZ). Only seen snow maybe five times since I left Michigan. Though last year it snowed in Phx, which was crazy.

You said it. The last time I went down there, and the snow hit during the game, it took forever to get home. If you can't drive in snow, don't go out.

All the warnings have been cancelled in southeastern Michigan, and the snow totals have been revised. In the Detroit area they are saying 3-6 inches and west of here, like Lansing, Jackson and points west, 4-8 inches. We already have about 4 inches of snow in my neighborhood, and I doubt we will get much more. There is actually a light, misty rain now.

The weather people are saying the reason is the air was so dry around here (I can attest to that - my skin couldn't get enough moisturizer!!) that it was never saturated enough to get to those snow totals.

We probably won't get much more snow today, so by game time the roads should be just fine - probably slushy, but fine. Just exercise caution when driving, because especially after the game some of the slush could freeze.
