Lapointe to the Wings

We don't need him. He is gritty - plays hard for a game and then is a non-factor for 3 or 4 games.

The biggest difference in the Wing''s team, last year and this year's team over the previos recent years teams is that everyone on is giving close to 100 percent every shift.

Well...of all the former Wings out there, Lapointe has been the only one i wouldnt mind seeing back here. But come on, they gotta stop trying to recapture the damn past, you want grit go get Chris Gratton.

 I want Gratton here, physical, huge, and has talent to boot.

How about we bring back Shanny, Feds, Lapointe, Eriksson, Kozlov, and McCarty. In return we'll trade Flip, Hudler, Sammy, Franzen, or anyone else that wasn't here 10 years ago. Then we can have a reunion of former Wings cups teams.

Exclude Eriksson, and that's not such a bad trade-off...

Would love to see Marty back in Detroit. Obviously he hasnt been incredibly productive this year but being with a better team he could be better than Drake or Downey and hes just as tough or tougher. Hes a good character guy and would be valuable come playoff time. I'm sick of seeing our guys getting pushed around, and Lapointe can score and lay the pop.
