With 30 hours to go before the trade deadline, Brad Richards remains the most talked-about name in the NHL trade market and the Atlanta Thrashers now might not decide where to trade Marian Hossa until Tuesday.

Originally, the Thrashers were aiming to make the decision Monday, but the expectation is there will now be increased interest in Hossa because Mats Sundin is staying in Toronto.

As of 11 a.m. Monday, the Ottawa Senators, Montreal Canadiens and the Detroit Red Wings, in this order, are the teams that I believe have the best chance of acquiring Hossa, but the favorites could be knocked off quickly if some team makes an offer that wows general manager Don Waddell off his feet.

Mlive says that Kenny is looking and talking with a lot of teams and that he would like to make a big move if it fits. I know this is not really anything new but a big move imo would involve a guy like Hossa.

Guess you can scratch him off as trade bait. I don't kno who else we could trade off and still get Hossa.....doesn't look like a realistic possibility.

Yup. If we ain't trading Flip, then we ain't getting Hossa. Unless of course those Campbell rumors are true, then it looks like Kronwall might be being used as a trading chip. In which case hopefully we can get Exelby coming back our way...

i think the best we can hope for at this point is Feds and Stuart.....Hossa just aint happening. Holland won't make a deal today that could affect some player on our team 10 years from now. Time to start thinking in the "NOW" Holland!
